Joelene Bamford Appointed Executive Director

The London Family Court Clinic (LFCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joelene Bamford as its new Executive Director.

Joelene brings nearly 15 years of experience with LFCC and over two decades in the non-profit sector, working at the intersection of justice, mental health, and child and youth advocacy. She has played a central role in the development and delivery of many of LFCC’s core programs, including the Youth Therapeutic Court, Youth Justice Assessments and the Child Victim Witness Program .

Prior to her appointment, Joelene served as Director of Court Services, where she led multidisciplinary teams and championed trauma-informed, evidence-based supports for young people navigating complex systems. A passionate mentor, she has supervised dozens of emerging professionals and is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of service providers.

As Executive Director, Joelene will continue to advance LFCC’s mission of supporting children, youth, and families through expert assessment, intervention, and advocacy. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, accountability, and a deep commitment to social justice.
