To be successful in our quest for lasting solutions to crime in our communities, our Centre must be able to plan effectively and to ensure continuity for its programs.
We have been fortunate to receive grants and support from varied sources for many of our programs, but we undertake many more important activities which have no consistent source of funding.
The Upstream Endowment has been created for this purpose - to build a stable source of funds that will give the Centre the sound footing it needs.
Donations to the endowment are used as working capital to generate an ongoing income for the Centre. These funds enable long-term planning and budgeting to provide continuity in our resources and to develop a productive environment for research activities. |
